Myers Wolin, LLC is pleased to announce that Akihiro Matsuya has joined the firm. Before joining Myers Wolin, Akihiro worked for one of the biggest patent law firms in Japan, and most recently worked in the U.S. as a Japan Patent Specialist, managing and prosecuting patent portfolios on behalf of clients in the U.S., Japan and around the world. He is a registered Japan Patent Attorney and a native Japanese speaker. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Metallurgy) from the University of Tokyo in 1996 and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 2007. He also has engineering experience related to metal refining and to heat treatment of automotive parts.
